Britský princ Harry oficiálně uvedl Spojené státy jako své hlavní místo pobytu. Uvedla to ve čtvrtek stanice Sky News s odvoláním na obchodní dokumenty ve Spojeném království.

Sky News odkazuje na dokument pro charitativní organizaci Travalyst, kterou Harry založil v roce 2019. Změna pobytu byla podle dokumentu provedena již 29. června 2023.

Buckinghamský palác téhož dne potvrdil, že Harry a jeho manželka Meghan Markleová odešli ze svého posledního sídla ve Spojeném království ve Frogmore Cottage v anglickém hrabství Berkshire.

Harry a Meghan žijí v americkém státě Kalifornie od března 2020, kdy se vzdali oficiálních královských povinností.

Venkovský dům Frogmore Cottage nedaleko hradu Windsor dostali Harry a Meghan do daru od Harryho babičky bývalé královny Alžběty II.. V roce 2019 zaplatili 2,4 milionu liber za jeho renovaci a nájem. Buckinghamský palác je však loni požádal, aby se vystěhovali.
