Boots brings back iconic 90s makeup range and prices start at €1.39 for a limited time

High street store Boots is bringing back a 90s makeup brand that we haven’t seen for an age and most of it is half-price at the minute.

Millennials and fans of budget beauty will remember the store’s Natural Collection from back in the day when it launched in 1988 around the era of supermodels, but it seemed to disappear in the last decade.

Now it’s back and better again the formulations are better, the packaging is a lot more recyclable and the prices haven’t kept up with inflation. Here’s what we think you should look at first.

Some of the products like pressed powder, blush and bronzer are currently half-price, selling for €1.39 rather than the full price of €2.79 (which is still cheap when you think of it). There are liners and brow buys also with slashed prices so now would be a good time to stock up if you know your shades.

Most interesting is the concealer and foundation from the 90s makeup range. These were always very popular back in the day, but we can’t believe what they cost in 2024 – €1.64 for the concealer (full price, €3.29) and €1.89 for two types of foundation and one tinted moisturiser (full price of each, €3.79).

Also in the line-up are lip balms, mascara, lipstick and lip gloss, setting spray and primers for different skin types. In all, there are 100 products in this return of the 90s makeup brand. Not all are on Boots.ie just yet but it’s believed bath and body products are on the way too.

If that’s the case, it might be possible to fill your makeup bag or bathroom shelf for about €20. 90s makeup at 90s prices, you don’t hear that too often in beauty, do you?
