TRACKING: Tornado watch in effect for area counties until 11 p.m.

It’s hauling out here. It’ll be done here pretty soon and you can kind of check for damage. It’s just a little bit up entrapment. And in Statesville, if you live up in Hickory and Claremont, thankfully the threat is over for you. My friends at Claremont, I know how rough it’s been for you. You can now go out safely and check if there’s any damage. I hope everybody is OK. Troutman, give it a little bit. It’s very heavy rain right now. The time is 7/29. As soon as I see this box disappear, we’ll get back to regular programming and prime time on ABC. You’ll get to see everything, don’t worry. Leave you with a few final thoughts. The tornado watch will continue for the next couple of hours. A watch means that conditions are favorable that these guys have the potential every once in a while to produce the Tornadoes. If you don’t believe me, talk to the folks up in Wilkes County where there is right now a tornado on the ground. So the conditions are favorable. It’s not until this line leaves us till we can finally close the door on all this weather and coming up at 11:00, we’ll take a look at if there is any kind of damage and the next threats are going to be coming in our these spots here. As we go through the night tonight to see if there’s any potential for more active weather, but I think this is pretty much going to be that end of it. OK, there we go. The warning has expired.
