BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s ‘FLOWER’ tops Spotify’s most streamed song of the decade by a Korean female soloist
Jisoo of BLACKPINK continues to make waves in the music industry with her solo debut, setting new records and milestones. Her latest achievement on Spotify is a testament to her growing influence and popularity as a solo artist.
Recently, Jisoo’s solo track FLOWER has reached an impressive milestone on Spotify, surpassing 403 million streams. This remarkable feat establishes FLOWER as the most streamed solo song by a Korean female soloist released this decade on the platform, surpassing previous records set by Rosé’s On the Ground.
Not only has FLOWER secured its place as the second most streamed solo song by a Korean artist on Spotify, but it also ranks as the fifth most streamed song by female soloists overall.
Jisoo, also known as Kim Ji Soo, is a versatile South Korean entertainer recognised for her talents in acting, modelling, and singing. Since her debut as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016, she has continued to shine both as a group member and as a solo artist. Her solo debut album, ME, released in 2023, achieved unprecedented success.
All BLACKPINK members stand out as individual artists, with each member having at least one song exceeding 400 million streams on Spotify. Furthermore, all members are at the forefront of the list for the most streamed K-pop female soloist songs of all time. Jisoo’s FLOWER recently climbed to the fifth position on this list.
Among the most streamed songs by K-pop female soloists, Lisa’s MONEY leads the pack with an impressive 1.14 billion streams, followed by Jennie’s One of the Girls and Solo, with 648 million and 595 million streams, respectively. Lisa’s LALISA follows closely with 464 million streams.
