at least one lotto player guaranteed to become ireland's next millionaire over easter weekend

Ireland will have at least one new millionaire after Saturday night’s Lotto draw

At least one lotto player in Ireland will become a millionaire this weekend, as Saturday’s draw will include a special ‘guaranteed to be won’ €1 million Lotto Plus Raffle event.

The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 60 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw, but this Bank Holiday weekend will see one of these Raffle winners boost their winnings by an additional €1 million.

Every ticket with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in Saturday night’s draw will be entered into a once-off random draw, where one ticket will be selected to win an additional prize of €1 million.

The guaranteed €1 million prize is not the only chance for Lotto players to win big, as the jackpot for Saturday night’s draw is expected to roll towards an estimated €6.5 million.

The next millionaire or millionaires from Saturday’s draw will join a list of six National Lottery players who have won prizes worth €1 million and over so far this year, with previous winners coming from Kerry, Dublin, Kildare, Wexford, Louth and Limerick.
