Durante la conferencia de prensa posterior a la derrota de los Tuzos del Pachuca frente a los Pumas de la UNAM (1-1, 3-5 en penales), el entrenador del cuadro hidalguense Guillermo Almada compartió que “no hubo justicia” con respecto al haber jugado tres partidos en menos de una semana.

“Estamos tristes porque uno siempre intenta ganar. Es lo único que vale en el futbol pero también rescatamos otras cosas como la valentía y salir a proponer todo el partido. En el futbol no hay justicia, en definitiva fue injusta la resolución. Tenemos que levantarnos rápidamente y tratar de clasificar el domingo”.

Anteponerse al desgaste

Del mismo modo, el estratega sudamericano ahondó en lo importante que será para sus jugadores el poder superar el desgaste tanto físico como mental después de haberle hecho frente a los partidos ante Mazatlán, América, Pumas y próximamente Necaxa.

“Yo ya me referí en su momento y todos conocen la situación. Estamos un poco golpeados porque teníamos otra expectativa. Acabamos de jugar una llave muy intensa con América hace 40 horas y no solo es el desgaste físico, sino también psicológico, nervioso que afecta a todos y me siento muy orgulloso de todos mis jugadores”.

Sin comentarios ante el arbitraje

Finalmente, Guillermo Almada se limitó a decir que no hablaría de las cuestiones arbitrales de manera pública. A la par de destacar que deben de reponerse lo más pronto posible debido a que la exigencia organizativa “no depende de ellos”.

“No voy a opinar de eso públicamente. Como siempre a nosotros nos buscan pero no voy a opinar de eso. Tenemos que tratar de reponernos. La exigencia organizativa que nos planearon es esta y tenemos que afrontarla porque no depende de nosotros”.
