The building at 9009 Bridge Road is under contract to be sold, according to a press release from the company. The property is listed for $1.15 million with the sale pending.

Swatara Township officials posted the land development plan submitted by Wawa. According to the proposal, the new store would be 5,585 square feet with 56 parking spaces. There would be 16 fueling pumps and electric vehicle charging stations.

The proposed store is part of the convenience store chain’s planned expansion in central Pennsylvania. The company said in June 2022 that it intended to double its store count over the next three to five years, with the potential for up to 40 additional stores in the area.
