Five-star athlete Terry Bussey scheduled three official visits to SEC programs ahead of National Signing Day. He has been committed to Texas A&M since Sep. 28 but has explored other options since head coach Jimbo Fisher was fired this season.
Bussey will visit Georgia (Jan. 26), LSU (Jan. 31), and Texas A&M (Feb. 2) ahead of his final decision on National Signing Day.
He is the No. 20 overall player and No. 1 athlete in the class of 2024. He also ranks as the No. 5 player in the state of Texas, according to the On3 industry rankings.
Bussey was named a second-team MaxPreps High School All-American last season. He finished the season with 1,785 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, 1,165 rushing yards, and 17 rushing touchdowns.
He was the first junior to be named Mr. Texas Football since Kyler Murray in 2013. He also was named the TSWA Class 2A Offensive Player of the Year after recording 2,177 passing yards, 2,596 rushing yards, 46 rushing touchdowns, and 26 passing touchdowns.
