DeMarcus Cousins most recently played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season when he was a member of the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks.
That year, he averaged 9.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 30.3% from the three-point range in 48 regular season games (he also appeared in five NBA playoff games).
Recently, the 33-year-old played for the Taiwan Beer Leopards.
On Sunday, the Taiwan Beer Leopards announced that Cousins had re-signed with the team (h/t Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype).
Cousins was initially the fifth pick in the 2010 NBA Draft out of Kentucky and played 11 seasons in the league.
In addition to the Nuggets and Bucks, Cousins also played for the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers.
At one point, he was among the best players in the league and made four NBA All-Star Games (with the Kings and Pelicans).
His career averages are 19.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 33.1% from the three-point range in 654 regular season games.
He also appeared in 20 NBA playoff games (five starts).
Unfortunately, Cousins dealt with injures that derailed the prime of his career, but he is still regarded as one the most talented players in NBA history.
While he is likely done in the NBA, fans will still get the chance to watch him play.
