Warwick Davis’ children have shared a new message after the actor shared a ‘concerning message’ following the death of his wife.
His wife Samantha passed away on March 24, 2024. After the tragic news was announced, Warwick, 54, concerned fans with a post he shared on social media. He set alarm bells ringing among fans after a late-night post on X Sunday in which he told his 662,000 followers: “I’m done here, Signing off,” which was followed by a broken heart emoji.
Many were left worried for the star, who is still coming to terms with the death of his childhood sweetheart. His children, Annabelle and Harrison, were quick to assure fans their dad is simply taking time away from social media.

They told fans: “Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media. He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support, Annabelle and Harrison.”
And now, they shared an additional message as they launched a JustGiving page called Sammy’s Helping Hands to raise funds for Little People UK. They asked people to send their donations or flower funds to their chosen charity. “Our Mum, the kindest, most inspirational and loving Mumma we could have wished for, devastatingly passed away on March 24,” they said.

“While it’s a very difficult time for us, we’re humbled by everyone who has reached out to offer support & to express how Sammy impacted their lives. Dad wanted us to share the project that we have all started for Mum. Through her work with Little People UK, Sammy was passionate about helping younger members of the dwarfism community, in particular those of school age.
“In order to continue the amazing work she did, we have set up ‘Sammy’s Helping Hands’, a Just Giving page. Find out more here. We understand times are hard, simply sharing this message helps us spread awareness for the charity and the work they do. Thank you again for your kindness, love and support. We send love to you and your families.”
Warwick and Samantha Davis
Last week, the family made the devastating announcement that Samantha had died in March. “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs”, Warwick said in a heartbreaking statement. “She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes.”
The loved-up pair became inseparable after locking eyes on the set of the George Lucas film Willow when they were only teenagers. Warwick, then 17, had shot to fame thanks to his Ewok Wicket role in Star Wars : Return of the Jedi when 16-year-old Samantha, the daughter of Willow co-star Peter Burroughs, caught his eye. After three years of romance, Samantha and Warwick walked down the aisle in June 1991.
