Living her best life: Clodagh Mckenna restoring her body and mind in Barbados

Sun, sand, and baking Clodagh McKenna may be soaking up the golden beaches of Barbados but her love of food and making scrumptious dishes will never be too far away.

Clodagh is no stranger to the Caribbean Island and often heads away with her husband, Harry to recharge the batteries before they get stuck into the year ahead.

Teaming up with a friend and businesswoman Carole Bamford, founder of the Daylesford Organic Farm shop chain in the UK, the girls took a break from the sun to do a quick recipe.

Making her famous ‘Clodagh Soda Bread,’ she states how it is an Irish recipe, but with her own twist.

Using all organic ingredients, she added rosemary to the mix and it looks delicious.

But as the girls chatted away and Clodagh spoke to her followers, we couldn’t help but be mesmerised by the crisp blue ocean behind them. It certainly beats the grey ones that most of us are looking at, here in Ireland…we swear there is not a jealous bone in our body.

For the star, it is not all work and no play and Clodagh is taking full advantage of what the island has to offer, jumping into the water with her paddle board as much as she can.
