Fast food breakfast just got sweeter.

If you’re anything like us, you probably don’t need additional reasons to hit up your favorite fast food restaurant. And yet, the chains just continue to give us more and more. Most of us probably remember a time when fast food breakfast was dominated by the Golden Arches, but now, it seems almost every chain has a dog in the fight. So, in a market saturated with breakfast options, how can you stand out? Wendy’s knows how.
Four years ago, Wendy’s introduced its breakfast menu, which, much like its original menu, only included a few items—like the Breakfast Baconator, Seasoned Potatoes, and Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. Today, Wendy’s breakfast menu has continued to grow, and now includes items like breakfast burritos, English muffin sandwiches, and, of course, the Frosty Cream Cold Brew.
Now, as Wendy’s seems to be at the top of its game—placing first in our fish sandwich, chicken nugget, and french fry taste tests—it’s clear the fast food chain isn’t out of ideas yet. Its latest menu addition is poised to break out in the breakfast space once again.
Wendy’s New Cinnabon Pull-Aparts
Wendy’s
To celebrate its fourth year serving breakfast, Wendy’s has teamed up with another one of our favorite fast food chains to launch an all-new item. Please welcome the Cinnabon Pull-Aparts to the menu. Wendy’s is joining forces with Cinnabon to release the new breakfast treat on Feb. 26.
Because Wendy’s is all for putting a new spin on a classic—we’re looking at you, Frosty—the Cinnabon Pull-Aparts are a different take on the classic cinnamon roll. The collab features Danish dough dunked in glaze and baked with cinnamon, brown butter, and sugar. The Pull-Aparts are topped with Cinnabon’s fan-favorite cream cheese frosting and sold in an individual portion.
“We’re so excited to have a sweet bakery option on our menu with the Cinnabon Pull-Apart, bringing nostalgia and comfort to our breakfast consumers,” said Eryn Bennett, Wendy’s Manager of Culinary Innovation.
It’s no secret that Cinnabon has menu collabs with a few other fast food restaurants—most notably Taco Bell and Pizza Hut—but Wendy’s Cinnabon Pull-Aparts are unlike any other Cinnabon product. In fact, even Cinnabon itself doesn’t sell anything quite like it.
Wendy’s Cinnabon Pull-Aparts are reminiscent of monkey bread, with bite-sized pieces of sweet, sugary dough held together by cinnamon, butter, and a dollop of cream cheese frosting on top.
The only downside to this sweet new product is that it’s only available during breakfast hours, which ends at 10:30 a.m. for most Wendy’s locations. So, if you want to try the creation (and who doesn’t?), you’ll have to hit the drive-thru a little earlier than usual.
