Situation at frontline
Recently, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the situation in eastern Ukraine has escalated.
According to him, Russia is stepping up its efforts by deploying new armored units, which periodically achieve tactical success.
In general, after the capture of Avdiivka, the Russian troops continue to put pressure in this direction and have also intensified assaults in the Chasiv Yar area. According to Syrskyi, the Russians were ordered to capture Chasiv Yar by May 9.
