Motorists will have to pay more for fuel products this week as oil companies will implement another hefty upward adjustment and separate advisories on Monday, June 24. Local oil firms say they would Jack up fuel prices starting Tuesday, June 25. The price of diesel per litre will increase by one peso and 75 centavos, but the price of gasoline per litre would also climb by one peso and 40 centavos. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene will go up by 1 peso and five centavos per litre. Department of Energy Oil Industry Management Bureau Director Rodella Romero says the oil price hikes this week could be attributed to the continued geopolitical tensions and supply risks.
