Portugal will look to prove that they are once again contenders to lift the trophy when they face Czech Republic in their Euro 2024 opener tonight.

They have since appointed Roberto Martinez and duly boasted the best record in qualifying, so will feel confident about getting things up and running against the Czech Republic.
