Taylor Swift CD with two unreleased songs and a medley of covers sells for £10k
A rare Taylor Swift CD, complete with two unreleased original songs and a medley of covers, has been snapped up for an eye-watering sum at auction.
The coveted disc was sold by Goldin Auctions - the company featured on Netflix's huge show, King of Collectibles. Their experts disclosed the disc was crafted by the now 34-year-old chart-topping sensation when she was merely 11 years old. It sold for an impressive $12,505 (£9,860) during the auction.
Included in the treasure trove are Swift's own 'Am I Ready For Love' and 'Can I Go With You', alongside renditions of The Chicks' (previously known as Dixie Chicks) hit There's Your Trouble, Dolly Parton's classic Here You Come Again, and Olivia Newton-John's beloved Hopelessly Devoted To You.

The winning bidder also scored a photograph of the 'All Too Well' songstress and a note bearing her contact information. Taylor had originally distributed these demo CDs during her early ventures into Nashville's music scene.
The sale comes after the Anti-Hero singer announced that her wildly successful 'Eras World Tour' is set to conclude this December. Speaking to her fans at a concert in Liverpool's Anfield, she shared: "This has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever wondered in my life, this tour."
She continued as she revealed her sentiments about the tour's end: "This is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December. Like, that's it. That feels so far from now, but then again, it feels like we've just played our first show on this tour."
