Teams: Storm's major boost as Origin dramas arise
We're back into split-round territory in the NRL, with a host of teams receiving the bye ahead of the second State of Origin clash next Wednesday night.
For the 10 teams in action in round 16, they will be without their NSW and Queensland representatives, with the likes of the Roosters and Sea Eagles both heavily impacted.
Manly will also be without a host of injured players for their match against the Rabbitohs, while the Warriors will be missing Dallin Watene-Zelezniak through suspension.
Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is due back from an ankle injury in a major boost for the side, who are without the likes of Cameron Munster and Reimis Smith.
Viliame Kikau looms as a major inclusion for the Bulldogs, while David Fifita is expected to return from an ankle issue in a must-win game for the Titans.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has also been named to return from injury for the Warriors.
Brisbane, Penrith, St George Illawarra, North Queensland, Parramatta, Cronulla and Newcastle will all receive two points this weekend before returning in round 17.
