OK, we're getting in. Breaking news, according to sources from the BJP, have informed CNN News 18 that the BJP will keep the post of the Lok Sabha Speaker. That's big news coming in. Deputy Speaker just might be given to the allies. Rajnath Singh has now been entrusted to speak to all the parties, get their consensus including opposition as well. Payal joins us for more Payal. If I'm not mistaken, the JDU had already stated that a BJP claim on the post will be respected by them. TDP, in fact, had spoken of a consensus. But what are you hearing from your sources in the BJP? Well, the debate is settled for once and for all and the debate is certainly that the BJP will keep this because forces, well, from whatever information we've been able to get from the allies, they have not been the principal allies. You know, in particular, whether JDU or the GDP, they're not very keen on, you know, taking the speakers post because both of these parties want support for the state and not the speakers position. But as far as the deputy speakers position is concerned, the opposition also wanted to field a candidate and they feel it's their right to get that. So they as of now, the government is trying to get it to a friend, to a friendly opposition party probably or even one of their allies as well. So in fact, Rajnath Singh, the senior politician, the government and is also deputy leader of the Lok Sabha. Has been also quoted and speak to all the opposition parties, especially the Congress amongst the others. And they will try to get in a candidate from the on a consensus basis. Because you know, at this point in time, even the fact that there is of course a clear number that the NDA parties really have, they do not want the election to take place and they want to take everybody along together and pick these polls because both of these polls are going to be constitutional in nature.
