Arch Manning Helping in Texas’ Recruitment of No. 1 Ranked Wide Receiver

Arch Manning didn’t need to do much for the Texas Longhorns on the field during the 2023 season with Quinn Ewers firmly entrenched as the team’s starter. The top overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class might be in for a similar situation ahead of his sophomore year with Ewers returning for his senior season.
However, that’s not to say Manning isn’t making an impact for the Longhorns from the sideline. In fact, he seems to be a big factor in making sure Texas’ roster is loaded with talent when it’s his time to take over.
“Texas QB Arch Manning x Five-Star Plus+ WR Dakorien Moore. I’m sure Arch has done some major recruiting for the Longhorns here. Will we see the No. 1 WR in 2025 join the No. 1 QB in 2023?” Hayes Fawcett posted on X.
Manning helped propel the Longhorns to the No. 3 ranked recruiting class in 2023. They had another top-ten recruiting class in 2024. Manning could have his work cut out for him with Texas coming in at No. 17 early in the 2025 recruiting cycle according to 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings.
We’ll see if Manning’s efforts help the Longhorns hook the first five-star for their 2025 recruiting class.
