NSW to receive $11.9 billion less from the GST over the next four years
New South Wales Treasurer Daniel Mookhey discusses how the state budget will be affected by receiving a decreased share of GST, which will amount to $11.9 billion over four years.
In an exclusive interview with Sky News Australia, Mr Mookhey says the decrease in New South Wales' share of the GST will have a big impact on the budget and could affect the state's triple-A rating.
"People will see tomorrow what New South Wales finances would have looked like if we had simply kept the same share of GST, we did last year relative to how it looks now that the Commonwealth Grants Commissions has taken $11.9 billion off NSW."
