Steve Clarke will be forced into at least one change to the Scotland lineup for their Euro 2024 clash with Switzerland.
Scotland need to swiftly respond to their disastrous performance on the opening night of the tournament, losing 5-1 to hosts Germany as Ryan Porteous was shown a straight red card before half-time for a dreadful challenge.
Clarke has insisted the task remains the same for his side and urged them to keep their focus on securing four points in the group stage, which should be enough to reach the last-16.
With Porteous suspended, Grant Hanley is the man likely to be brought into the back three, having been called into action off the bench against Germany.
Billy Gilmour could come into the side in midfield, with Ryan Christie potentially the man to make way, but there are unlikely to be too many changes. Che Adams struggled to get into the game on Friday night, though is expected to get the nod over Lawrence Shankland up front.
As for Switzerland, they go into this match knowing a second win of the tournament would already be enough for them to start thinking about the knockout stages.
The key decision comes up front, after Breel Embolo came off the bench in the victory over Hungary and scored late on. The 27-year-old has returned to fitness after a miserable season with injury, and is pushing to come back into the starting lineup.
Denis Zakaria (thigh) and Steven Zuber (calf) were both left out of the squad for that match after failing to overcome injury issues of their own, and it remains to be seen whether they recover in time to feature against Scotland.
Predicted Scotland XI: Gunn; Hanley, Hendry, Tierney; Ralston, Gilmour, McGregor, Robertson; McGinn, McTominay; Adams
