Coleen and Linda Nolan reunite with others for live performance for 'shy sister'
The song list possibly included The Corrs and Sister Sledge, but surely the Nolans threw in their own hits when they danced the night away at Maureen’s 70th birthday.
Maureen was joined by sisters Anne, 73, Linda, 65, Coleen, 59, and Denise, 72, on Friday night for the epic party at a hotel on Blackpool’s promenade.
The following morning she said she was: “Completely overwhelmed at the love in the room. I have the best family and friends in the world.

"Special mention to my sister Denise who organised it all, while I was in America, you are totally awesome, Denise, and I couldn’t have wished for a better night.
“Thank you also to Linda who continues to be the biggest inspiration in my life, who also helped with organisation. We all danced till we dropped.” After partying until 1am, she recreated her drunk speech from her stage role in Calendar Girls to the delight of guests.

Linda wrote in the Mirror last week: “Maureen had initially said she didn’t want a big do. If there’s such a thing, she’s one of the shyer Nolans. But then eight weeks ago she changed her mind.”
Arranging the guest list was “a little like pinning jelly to the wall”, she joked. “Denise arranged the cake, my brother’s paying for it. It’s a real family affair.”
