Caitlin Clark Puts League on Notice After Fever-Sky Showdown
The Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 91-83 on Sunday, June 16, a statement win for the young team.
Fever guard Caitlin Clark delivered an incredible performance, leading both teams in scoring with 23 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds.
Aliyah Boston continued her hot streak, putting up 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 blocks. Kelsey Mitchell scored 17 points with 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
After the game, Clark delivered a strong message to the Fever's upcoming opponents.

"[We'll] continue to streak some wins along," Clark told reporters. "Coach [Christie Sides] has been saying, 'We just have to continue to take a step forward every single day,'" Clark noted, "And we don't have time to step backwards."
While the Fever struggled early on, especially with minimal practice, Clark and her teammates are finding "consistency" Clark said. After winning just one game in May, the Fever have won four of their last six matchups.
Next up, the Fever face the Mystics on June 19.
