Mother and son die in house fire in Brisbane's south
A mother and son have tragically perished in a house fire.
Emergency services found the two-storey home in Woodridge, in Brisbane's south, fully ablaze when they arrived just after 6pm on Sunday.
A woman in her 80s and a disabled man in his 60s, believed to be her son, were found inside, Queensland Police have confirmed.
Queensland Police Acting Inspector Mark Procter said the cause of the fire was being investigated by detectives.
Police are not treating the blaze as suspicious.
