Celtics Fans Send Desperate Plea to Jayson Tatum Ahead of NBA Finals Game 5
Despite their loss in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday night, the Boston Celtics are still in the driver's seat against the Dallas Mavericks, holding a 3-1 series lead.
However, the door has now been slightly cracked when it comes to a potential comeback, so Boston fans may not be quite as wholeheartedly confident as they were going into Friday's game.
One of the reasons for doubt is the play of Jayson Tatum, a player who is supposed to be Boston's best but has been playing nowhere near that level this series. In Game 4, Tatum made unfortunate history, becoming the only player in NBA history to have a plus/minus of -30 or worse in multiple games in the Finals.
Now, going back home for Game 5 of the series, Celtics fans are issuing a desperate plea to Tatum to step up.

Tatum has been averaging 20 points per game this series, with a +/- of -4 across the four games. We will see what he can do in another closeout game on Monday night, but the performance so far has been damning.
