Should There Be A Cause For Concern Following Boston's 38 Point Loss?

While it wasn't a surprise to see the Mavericks avoid a sweep in Game 4, it probably wasn't on any bingo cards that the Celtics would be suffering the worst NBA Finals loss since 2008.
According to ESPN, the Dallas Mavericks' 38 point win over the Boston Celtics in Game 4 Friday night is the third-largest margin of victory in NBA Finals history. The two larger deficits were 2008 when the Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers 131-92 (39 points) and 1998 when the Chicago Bulls beat the Utah Jazz 96-54 (42 points).
Boston is currently heavy favorites to walk away with the win in Game 5 with -280 odds on the ML, and -3500 odds to win the series overall. So while many on social media are saying this blowout win by Dallas could mean a potential 3-0 comeback for the Mavericks, it just doesn't seem that way with how talented this Boston team is.
Including the regular season and postseason, Boston has only had back-to-back losses in four instances, and have never lost three or more in a row. In the playoffs they haven't had back-to-back losses so far, and in games coming off a loss in the playoffs their average margin of victory has been 16.5 points.
Additionally, the only way Dallas would be able to come back and win this series in seven games would be by winning two of those at the TD Garden, an environment that was visibly tough for them with the Boston crowd support.
With home court on their side Monday night as they look past an ugly Game 4 and towards their NBA record 18th championship, there's truly no cause for concern at this moment for Dallas making a comeback.
