Chiefs' Mahomes Will Miss 10-Year High School Reunion
Ten years ago, Kansas City Chief’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes had just graduated from Whitehouse High School in Texas. Since then, he’s gone to college, became the 10th overall pick in the NFL draft and won three Super Bowls while playing football with Taylor Swift's boyfriend.
Average stuff, you know.

With his 10-year high school reunion in September, Mahomes revealed to People that he will be unable to attend as he'll be in the middle of defending his back-to-back Super Bowl Championships.
"It's in September. We actually talked about this with my friends last weekend. So, it's 10 years for me, she's older than me," he added, pointing to his wife Brittany, who is also 28 years old. The couple, who are high school sweethearts, first met when Brittany was a junior and Patrick was a sophomore.
"She's at 11 now," Mahomes continued. "But I won't be able to celebrate it but I'm gonna send my best wishes to all my classmates.”
We are sure that Mahomes is easily the most popular person in his graduating class, and his presence will be missed, but he’s on a mission that needs his full undivided attention.
Sorry, Whitehouse High School class of 2014, Mahomes will not be joining you. You might not want to plan on the 20-year reunion either, as he could very well still be dominating the NFL.
