Meet the Mets
The Mets are bad. Despite hitting three home runs they fell to the Guardians 6-3 as Cleveland finished off the sweep. José Quintana gave up a game-tying, three-run home run to former Met Andrés Giménez, and then Adam Ottavino fell apart late to allow the Guardians to pull ahead and seal the victory. Bottom line this is a bad team that has very little going for it right now.
