HPD: Suspect in custody after running from officer who shot at him in southwest Houston
According to HPD, the suspect ran into an apartment complex after an officer shot at him.

This happened on Lansdale Drive near the Sam Houston Parkway in southwest Houston. HPD first posted about the incident at 8:29 a.m.
According to HPD, the man ran into an apartment complex and jumped several fences after an officer shot at him.
Police said the man was taken into custody nearby on Finchwood Lane.
It's unclear what led up to the incident or if anyone was injured. We're working to learn more.

UPDATE: The suspect was just taken into custody by officers in the 10100 block of Finchwood Lane. He had run from officers and jumped several fences.
