Euro 2024: De la Fuente predicts Spain vs Germany, names best team
Spain manager, Luis de la Fuente has predicted a ‘close’ match when his side faces Germany in the quarter-final of the Euro 2024.
He also named Spain as the best team in the European championship this year.
De la Fuente spoke after his side’s 4-2 win over Georgia in the Round of 16 on Sunday.
“The match is 8-1 or 9-1,” De la Fuente said after Spain’s win against Georgia.
“With all due respect to the other players, we have the best team and players in the world.
“Germany is a great team, with great individual players and they work very well as a team. They are facing a very similar team, very organised, difficult to beat, very hungry.
“It will be a very close match and it will be the details that will determine the match. We are very confident in ourselves.”
