Action shooter Call of Duty Mobile got its Season 6 recently. Named ‘Synthwave Showdown’, the 90s party-themed COD Mobile season ushers in a new multiplayer map, a different Ground War experience, a custom 1v1 mode, and the Combat Advisor feature. New multiplayer map ‘Collateral Strike’
The new COD Mobile map ‘Collateral Strike’ first came to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, and has now come to Call of Duty Mobile. The mobile version of the Collateral Strike map is smaller than the original map; the map features a satellite crash site in a desert village.
New Ground War experience
Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 Synthwave Showdown adds a new Ground War experience. As per Call of Duty Mobile devs, “After landing a certain number of eliminations, Operators will be presented with three randomly chosen abilities”.
The abilities could be "increased explosive damage" or "increased ammo reloading speed". Choose one of the three and you will get its immediate benefit. Call of Duty Mobile players can pick multiple abilities in the same match.
The Ground War abilities come in different rarities, from Common to Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic.

Custom 1v1 Quick Solo room
Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 Synthwave Showdown introduces a custom 1v1 Quick Solo room mode that lets you select a map of your choice and the game mode. Players can also tinker with settings like Weapon Type (Unlimited, Sniper, Shotgun, Assault, SMG) and Kill Limit. The Custom 1v1 Quick Solo room mode allows you to customise the killing field your way.
New ‘Combat Advisor’ feature
Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 Synthwave Showdown adds a new Combat Advisor feature to the Friends section. Using this Friends feature in Call of Duty Mobile, players can form an advisor/trainee relationship with anyone in the Call of Duty Mobile community irrespective of their ranks.
Next, both the advisor and the trainee have to complete challenges that will get them rewards. For example, the advisors will get benefits like extra Player and Weapon XP.
