BREAKING: Sharks Re-Sign Justin Bailey To One-Year Contract
The San Jose Sharks announced the re-signing of Justin Bailey to a one-year, two-way contract.
Bailey has found a home in San Jose after signing a professional try-out contract at training camp last season. He was rewarded with a contract and, due to injuries, found himself in a full-time NHL role.
In 59 games in the NHL last season, Bailey scored five goals and had nine assists. His 59 games were a career high. The winger was the Sharks nominee for the 2024 Bill Masterton Trophy.
Per PuckPedia, Bailey will make $800K in the NHL or $375K in the minors. He is guaranteed $450K.
Bailey was set to become an unrestricted free agent had he not signed an extension with San Jose.
The Sharks also officially announced the re-signing of Luke Kunin.
