Located in Nonhyeon-dong in Gangnam, Seoul, the building encompasses around 1,316 square meters, with two underground floors and five above-ground floors. Korea’s Money Today states that Woo Bin had placed a mortgage with the highest bond amount of 7.4 million Korean won and received a loan of 6.2 billion Korean won.

The building was the headquarters of Big Hit Entertainment in 2007 until the company later moved to different locations across Seoul. Currently, Hybe is located in Yongsan District. According to the Money Today report, the original headquarters was leased by Big Hit Entertainment and has then been used by a facility maintenance company.

Kim Woo Bin’s purchase of the building, however, was met with worry by some BTS fans, known as ARMY. The building poses a significant landmark in the early history of the pop juggernauts, and fans often leave messages on its walls as tributes.

Some fans suggested that the building should’ve been instituted as a national landmark, while others expressed their alarm on the potential removal of ARMY’s messages.
