A manhunt is underway for a man who approached a teenage girl and allegedly touched her inappropriately in a popular tourist town.
Police said that a 14-year-old girl was approached by a man who allegedly 'touched her leg' before walking away in Evans Head on the NSW far north coast.
The incident was allegedly happened along the Evans River foreshore at Elm Street around 2pm Wednesday.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

The man is described Asian appearance, aged 20-30, about 170cm tall, medium build, with black hair and acne scars.
He was wearing a T-shirt and black shorts.
