Czechia 1-2 Turkey: 10-man Czechs are knocked out as Cenk Tosun's injury-time strike earns win for Vincenzo Montella's side... who face Austria next
Czechia were knocked out of Euro 2024 this evening as they failed to beat Turkey.
Tomas Soucek appeared to have given his side a fighting chance in the second half when he poked in after a lengthy VAR check, but the 10 men of Czechia failed to find the second goal they needed to reach the last 16.
Antonin Barak saw red just 20 minutes into the game following two yellow cards, and Hakan Calhanoglu netted to put Turkey ahead, and they survived a late scare to book their place in the knockout round, securing a late win through Cenk Tosun.
Full report to follow.
