Disney to replace Genie+ with Lightning Lane Multi Pass, announces return of holiday events
New this morning, Walt Disney World has announced changes to its Lightning Lane system. That's the product that allows guests to use a shorter line at many rides, and soon guests will be able to buy a Lightning Lane Multipass that will allow riders to select three attractions to skip the standby line. Guests at Disney hotels will be able to choose their rides up to a week before their visit. Those changes go into effect on July 24th, and you can learn more about them on our website, wftv.com. And Walt Disney World has also announced the return of some popular holiday favorites later this year. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will run at the Magic Kingdom on select nights from November 8th through December 20th. Another event called Jollywood Nights will also be available at Hollywood Studios between November 9th and December 21st. And over at Epcot, the International Festival of the Holidays will start November 29th and end December 30th.
