Building green partnerships: How Vietnam's leading agribusiness aims to be catalyst for sustainable agriculture
Climate change, loss of biodiversity, and food security are global challenges that require urgent attention. However, their impact is felt even more directly in the agricultural sector. In the face of these pressing issues, collaboration among like-minded organisations is crucial to promote more eco-friendly practices, said Mrs Dang Huynh Uc My (Omi Dang), Vice Chairlady of multinational agricultural enterprise Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS, Ticker: SBT), Vietnam's leading multinational agricultural enterprise. Mrs Omi Dang is well known as the initiator and leader of all innovation initiatives at the company.
Speaking at the TTC AgriS International Partners Day 2024 held at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore in May, she stressed the importance of having a shared platform that brings together government, financial institutions and consulting firms to exchange ideas, foster connections in areas such as science, technology and the circular economy, and promote investments that prioritise sustainable development.
“We are extremely proud to have the steadfast and dedicated support of leading entities participating in the TTC AgriS value chain on the same platform for exchange, deep and wide-ranging connections in science and technology – which include circular economy, value resonance, and promoting sustainable development investments,” she said.
