STORM WATCH: Tracking a line of strong storms today for parts of New Jersey
How about the heat before the storm to Della? I mean, we're talking about temperatures that will be in the 90s in Jersey City in most of inland New Jersey today. The shore will be cooler, but it's the heat and humidity during the day. It's the strong storms later tonight, 6:00 to 12:00 AM. I even think this could really be 7:00 PM to midnight. So most of your daytime hours are going to be dry. And then after we get past this lower heat, lower humidity as we go into Thursday and Friday, here's a look at your temperature forecast. So we got air temps on in the white. We have feels like temperatures in the red here and you're going to see hundreds pop up on your screen. In the central and southern portions of the state, as we go into the afternoon here and then even into the evening, it's staying very mild with temperatures in the 70s for most of the night. Could we break record high temperatures? We certainly could, especially in Tierborough where the records 96. We should get up to 97.
