Will bitcoin ETFs send the price higher - and why were Premium Bonds cut? LUNCH MONEY

Bitcoin ETFs have finally got the green light in the US, with the news landing last night that the US securities regulator has approved them for the first time.

What does this mean for investors, why didn’t bitcoin jump on the news, could the price rise further from here and does this make crypto a ‘safer’ investment.

On this episode of Lunch Money, Victoria Scholar, of interactive investor, discusses the impact of the SEC decision with Simon Lambert.

Savers suffered a blow this morning, as a much safer home for your money that could still make you rich, Premium Bonds, saw a rate cut.

Lee Boyce talks through why this sudden cut has happened and how Premium Bonds compare to savings accounts now.

And finally, three big names delivered trading updates this week that cover the festive spending spree: Sainsbury’s, Tesco and M&S.

We look at which of the retail giants won Christmas.
