Where Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers go in early version of ESPN's mock draft 2.0

With the NFL scouting combine beginning this week, draft season is now upon us.

Considering that, ESPN’s Mel Kiper and Field Yates are working on their mock draft 2.0 for April’s 2024 NFL draft. Though that mock is not yet complete, the pair did reveal the mock’s first 12 picks on a recent episode of the First Draft podcast.

The pair has LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels as the No. 2 prospect off the board, going to the Washington Commanders ahead of fellow quarterback Drake Maye. Meanwhile, they have Malik Nabers going seventh to the Tennessee Titans, where he would help out an offense in need of young, explosive talent.

We’ll have to wait until the full mock is revealed to see where ESPN has Brian Thomas Jr. going, but the Tigers receiver is widely viewed as a later first-round pick, as well.
