Liverpool remain without Diogo Jota and Conor Bradley for their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Saturday.
The Reds saw their Premier League title hopes dealt another blow on Wednesday after defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.
Jurgen Klopp’s side lacked a real cutting edge up front with Jota sidelined once again having only made his full return from a knee injury against Fulham last weekend.
Jota joined Bradley on the sidelines with the Northern Ireland international ruled out with an ankle injury, along with long-term absentees Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip.
Klopp confirmed on Friday both players are still to return to training as they continue their respective recoveries.
Cody Gakpo will return to the squad after the birth of his first child having missed the Merseyside derby.
Jarell Quansah, Wataru Endo and Harvey Barnes will be among those pushing for starts in east London this weekend after they were summoned from the bench on Merseyside midweek.

For the hosts, Jarrod Bowen could make his return having returned to training.
The forward has missed his side’s last two league games against Fulham and Crystal Palace but played 72 minutes in between those two Premier League games in the Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen.
While he was still being monitored by West Ham’s medical staff, David Moyes declared there is a ‘good chance’ he would feature when speaking in his press conference on Friday.
Nayef Aguerd remains sidelined with Konstantinos Mavropanos pushing to return.
