Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said polling in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 has made it clear that June 4 is the “expiry date” of Congress-led INDI alliance.

Addressing an election rally in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar, PM Modi said: “The expiry date of INDI alliance is set for June 4. There will be no one left to pick up the pieces of I.N.D.I.A after June 4.”

“The opposition parties that came together before elections will fall after June 4,” the prime minister said.

The counting of votes and result of Lok Sabha polls 2024 will be announced on June 4.

PM Modi further said the ongoing Lok Sabha election is being contested between ‘santushtikaran (satisfaction)’ and ‘tushtikaran (appeasement)’. The BJP and the entire NDA is doing everything to satisfy Indians with their hard work,” he said.

INDI alliance busy in appeasing its vote bank

Slamming the opposition, PM Modi said, “INDI alliance has been busy in appeasing its vote bank through its conspiracies. Congress has made its entire manifesto bearing the imprint of Muslim League.”

PM Modi further said when it comes to issues of the poor, “Congress its head in sand like an ostrich.”

Regarding the recent statements made by Congress leaders about the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks, PM Modi termed them as dangerous and insulting to the victims and security forces. He questioned the credibility of Congress and its allies to lead Maharashtra.

The Prime Minister said, “No trick of the INDI alliance is working in front of the people. They are even crossing the limits of hopelessness. The situation is indicating desperation. The ‘A team’ here is losing, so the ‘B team’ of Congress is becoming active across the border. To boost the morale of the Congress, tweets are being made from across the border. In return, the Congress party is giving clean chits to terrorists.”

‘Dangerous conspiracy of Congress & INDI alliance exposed’

Reacting on RJD president Lalu Yadav’s statement favouring reservation to Muslims, PM Modi said: “A dangerous conspiracy of the Congress and INDI alliance has been exposed. They are playing a very dangerous game. Today, an INDI alliance partner, who was in jail in the fodder scam (referring to Lalu Prasad Yadav), has said the INDI alliance will give full reservation to the Muslims if they form the government.”

In his rally, PM Modi also highlighted the BJP-NDA’s achievements in poverty alleviation and farmer welfare. He also listed initiatives such as providing pucca houses, Jan Dhan accounts, and free grain for 80 crore needy people.
