SpaceX did not sell its Starlink satellite communication terminals to Russia, either directly or indirectly, states the company’s owner Elon Musk.
“A number of false news reports claim that SpaceX is selling Starlink terminals to Russia. This is categorically false. To the best of our knowledge, no Starlinks have been sold directly or indirectly to Russia,” states Musk.

Russians have Starlink terminals
The media reported that Russians had started using Starlink satellite communication terminals at the front. Ukrainian troops first recorded Russia’s use of satellite communications on the front line several months ago.
In a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, confirmed that cases of Russians using Starlink terminals were indeed recorded at the front. According to him, this is starting to become a systematic pattern.
Today, the DIU published a radio interception of a conversation between the occupiers. They were talking about the use of Starlink terminals at the front.
