MANILA, Philippines: The UST Golden Tigresses pulled off a reverse sweep, 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-7, against the FEU Lady Tamaraws at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, March 3 to go 4-0 in the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament.

Angge Poyos tied her career-best of 24 points laced with five excellent digs and five receptions to lead the Golden Tigresses, who ran rampage in the fifth set after taking the third and fourth stanzas.
UST got off to a 10-3 start and never looked back as Xyza Gula eventually sealed the win with a kill.
Gula banged 13 points on top of six digs and six receptions, as she energized UST anew off the bench.
Jean Asis poured 15 points to pace the Lady Tamaraws who dropped to 2-2.
