Newport World Resorts’s signature New Year’s Eve event, The Grand Countdown, is back and bound to be bigger, bolder, and more epic this season.

The last hurrah of the year is all about being loud, fun, and exhilarating, and the country’s premier entertainment destination welcomes the year with energizing performances from OPM’s finest artists.

The Grand Countdown to 2024 proudly presents the “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta and the “King of OPM” Ogie Olcasid, two of the biggest stars in the country, as they take the reins of the New Year’s Eve extravaganza.

Their combined musical power ushers in a brand new start with an unforgettable countdown show at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Marriott Hotel Manila on December 31, starting at 7 p.m.

As the clock inches closer to midnight, there will be a dazzling showcase from special guests: “Fearless Diva” JONA, R&B singer-songwriter Arthur Nery, and singing sensation Katrina Velarde.

Get ready to party the night away as “Born to be a Star” grand champion Jehramae Trangia, rising Filipino-American artist Michael Keith, and “The Pop Stage” winner CJ Villavicencio turn up the ante with their pre-show performances. The Grand Countdown to 2024 is hosted by multi-talented TV personality Billy Crawford.

Revelers will be served a feast prepared by Marriott Hotel Manila award-winning chefs. The celebrations go all-out as lucky guests get a chance at winning a brand new car for the grand raffle and other major prizes during numerous raffle draws throughout the evening.
