Verdacht pakketje aangetroffen in centrum van Zutphen

ZUTPHEN (ANP) – In de Marspoortstraat in het centrum van Zutphen is zondagmiddag een verdacht pakketje aangetroffen. Dat bevestigt de politie na berichtgeving door Omroep Gelderland. Volgens een woordvoerster gaat het om “iets dat zou lijken op een mogelijk explosief”.

De Explosieve Opruimingsdienst Defensie (EOD) is ter plaatse om onderzoek te doen. Ook zijn uit voorzorg een ambulance en de brandweer opgeroepen. De straat waar het verdachte pakketje werd aangetroffen is afgezet.
