Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger and former Labor senator Stephen Conroy have clashed over the detainee debacle.
The Albanese government has found itself under fire again after more was revealed about the immigration detainees who were released from indefinite detention due to a landmark High Court ruling last year.

Documents tabled to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee on Monday provided for the first time a breakdown of the serious crimes committed by the detainees.
The documents further revealed that 24 of the freed detainees have reoffended since they were released into the community.
Mr Conroy defended the Labor government over its handling of the detainee situation.
