State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Thursday said that the job opportunity will be created for 10 lakh youth in the next five years.
He told these to the reporters after the High Commissioner of India Pronoy Verma paid a curtsey call with him at the Secretariat on Thursday (January 18).
Palak said, our target is to export of ICT accessories from Bangladesh of 5 billion dollars. We want to attract investment in postal, telecommunication and ICT sectors. Bangladesh wants to work together with India to introduce as a developed and prosperous economic country in the world.
The state minister said that 1 billion dollars have been invested in our startups in the last five years. Most of them came from America, India and Singapore. And some parts came from Japan.
