Today on Pinstripe Alley – 5/9/24
The moment that the Yankees acquired Juan Soto in the offseason, I imagined a scenario where he, Aaron Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton all went yard in the same game. It took a minute for all the stars to align, but it’s hard to think of a better time than against the Astros. No matter how bad that team looks right now though, I will never rest until that cockroach is truly dead. Keep the wins coming and help bury them!
Today on the site, it’ll be a little more quiet than normal, but we’ll still have our regular features with Matt on the Rivalry Roundup and Jake on the 1999 Yankees beat. Later on, Sam will look into Clarke Schmidt’s start to 2024 as well, zeroing in on how the righty has increased his punchouts to make himself a better pitcher, even though he’s not quite providing length just yet.
