Thursday’s rapid fire: Arm Holdings, Airbnb, Robinhood, Roblox and Yeti
While we move into the rapid fire now, starting with the interview that you just had with ARM Holdings CEO Rene Haas, I think is telling you that the strongest part of their business is the NVIDIA business. So if there’s a wreath, by the way, the quarter was excellent. Don’t believe that there was really a guy down. There was just one business, which is their business that is not that important, which was the Internet of Things business. That was not on fire. No, it was on fire. For anyone else, this stock’s going to come back. But most importantly, this is a referendum on how strong NVIDIA is. I’m not not on the May 22nd quarter, but just the long term strength. He was saying 26 to 27 of the blowout years. Multi year story Airbnb earnings better than expected quarter, but here’s another example where a soft Q2 guide sends the stock right? And there we have a travel issue versus experiential. If you go to the site, they’ve got these new products that I think are very exciting. But there is a sense that travel has declined a bit in the United States and no ones denying that yet. Robin Hood, good quarter thanks to crypto trading revenue. No. How sustainable is it And people keep saying it’s not sustainable but the stock goes up and the reason why it’s not sustainable people say is it’s mostly crypto and options, but crypto has been a great thing. People like crypto, yeah. The big disappointment of the days though in Roblox that was plummeting Q2 booking guidance we that’s shocking to me. I did not expect that. I had thought they were in a path where they last quarter was very, very good and they did. I think they themselves were shocked that this happened. Any thoughts on Yeti? They had actually a good better than expected quarter. They raised the full year outlook. Because there are other competitors that have cut price dramatically and people thought that Yeti was done well. You know what? It ain’t done. They need more product though. So we’ll see how we can deal with some competition from from Stanley. Yes, that’s part of the problem.
